BAFTA - This year is also pleasing!

As a result of the cooperation of the Baku International Short Film Festival with the British Council, a special screening of BAFTA nominees is held every year within the framework of the festival.
BAFTA, considered one of the world's most famous awards, is an award of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
The British Film Academy, founded in 1947 under the leadership of David Lee, became the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in 1976.
The BAFTA awards were designed by American sculptor Mitzi Cunlife. Mitz's stunning design is now an icon recognized around the world. For the first time, the BAFTA mask was awarded to Charlie Chaplin, was elected a member of the Academy.
Later, due to the increased interest in the award, the number of nominations was increased. Over the years, Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Meryl Streep, Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Dustin Hoffman, Kate Winslet, John Travolta, George Lucas, Tom Hanks, Clint Eastwood, Robert De Niro and others have been honored with this award.
Four years now, the "BAFTA nominees" program, which has a special place at our festival, has been presenting interesting films to viewers. We think that films that have received such a valuable award worldwide and are also nominated for this award can be a source of great pleasure and experience for local film producers. We believe that such collaborations will create a foundation for important work in the field of film education in the future.
This year, four films will be screened within the program of our festival.
